Passport Ready

How are we doing my beautiful Filly Flair readers? Have you all had a great week, or what? The air is getting warmer and the sun is shining and the birds are singing! I feel like there is a bounce in my step and even my spirit as I'm writing this! Want to know why? Today my girlfriends and I officially booked our cruise through the Caribbean Sea! We are flying down to Tampa, Florida from Sioux Falls, South Dakota this summer and loading our cruise ship for a seven day gorgeous Caribbean cruise where we'll get to explore Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and Cozumel. I'm already stocking up on sunscreen and sunhats because I'm way too fair-skinned for all of that sun. Nonetheless, I could not be more excited.

With the approach of this ultimate girl's trip, we are all obviously trying to find the perfect looks to wear on the cruise ship and for walking around these beautiful countries. Of course, we know we need gorgeous sundresses and cute swimsuits, but we also need a nice gown for the Captain's Dinner. I think I've narrowed down my selection (all from Filly Flair of course) and I hope you like what I chose! Let me know in the comments if you think these outfits are hittin' or quittin'... does that make sense? Let me know that as well haha!

1. White Tank Top, Striped Palazzo Pants, and Casual Sandals

This outfit I think is so Caribbean seaworthy! I love the light and casual fabric of the white tank top paired with the flowy vertical striped palazzo pants. I can already picture myself gracefully standing on the ship deck as the wind whips around my body carelessly blowing my hair and flowy pants in its path. Sounds beautiful... but if you know me at all, you know I'm not graceful so this graceful image will never happen, but a girl can dream, right?

2. Tropical Prints and Maxi Dresses

If you're going on a Caribbean cruise to three different gorgeous tropical countries, you have to pack vibrant tropical prints as well! I mean, did you even go on a cruise if you didn't wear a print like these? The maxi dresses can be used for the Captain's dinner as well as for strolling the beaches of Mexico. I love how the floral print kimono can be paired beautifully with the royal blue maxi but also double as a swimsuit cover-up.

3. Tie-Dye Tank Tops and Jean Shorts

If there is one print that screams summertime, we all know it's tie-dye! For sure I'll be sporting this super cute tie-dye tank top with a pair of cut-off jeans shorts and sandals. It's going to be HOT this summer, so I really wanted to make sure I had clothing that suited the weather.

Okay, ladies, what do yall think of these three looks? Do we love them or hate them? Let me know in the comments below. Do you have any vacations coming up? Drop those in the comments as well. Have a great weekend Filly Flair Fashionistas! XOXO
