You are my Jam: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Once sprouts are established, transplant growing pot into a larger pot or into ground. Plant outside when temps stay above 55° F at night. Pick a spot with 3-8 hours of sunlight. Water often; fertilize monthly.

PREP Place grow medium discs
into can. Add water, 1 tbsp at a
time, breaking apart the discs
with your fingers until fully
expanded. Repeat as needed.
PLANT Sprinkle seeds on
top and push just below
the surface.
GROW Set in a warm, sunny
spot or under a grow light.
Check grow medium every 2-3
days; if dry, add ⅓ C of water.
